Borrowing Food Stamps
"I just spent $80 on a couple pizzas, chips, ice cream and few other items.. And that's just one day," said Channa Jackson, who borrowed food stamps from a family member to pay for the children's lunch. Jackson is used to her children's school providing breakfast, lunch and an afterschool snacks. With in school no longer in session, she is struggling to put food on the table. And. since she has moved into a new neighborhood, she does not know of a any food pantries.
