Santa hands out Christmas presents to Tamara Collier (top right) and her two children, Dominique, 5, and D'Marii, at Rosewood Care Center on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017. Collier, 25, was doing laundry at her mother's house in St. Louis when she was hit by a stray bullet. The bullet went through a door before hitting Collier in the neck, paralyzing her from the neck down. The Washington University Police Department adopted Collier and her two children for the holiday, collecting money and two van loads of food, clothes and blankets. Collier's cousin, Carla Austin, is at top left.
