Seeking the limelight
"All I want to do is perform," says Taylor Merriweather, better known as a Lil' Tay around town. Taylor is the only surviving member of the former group hip hop ground Three Problems. His cousin James Johnson Jr., better known as Swagg Huncho, was shot inthe head at least twice in December 2015. While the other member Relly Rell, was sentenced to a decade in prison for second-degree murder. Their music focused on the hardship and desperate choices they and other young Black men faced in north county neighborhoods.
